Prince Nymph
The Prince Nymph is a weighted attractor-style nymph that imitates the general profile of stonefly and large mayfly nymphs, two of the most important food sources in trout streams. Its dark body provides a strong, natural silhouette, while the split white biots create contrast and act as a trigger point that trout notice quickly. Rather than matching a single insect, it represents a high-protein meal that trout are conditioned to eat in a wide range of waters.
Fish the Prince Nymph near the bottom with a dead drift under an indicator or using a tight-line setup. It works exceptionally well as a point fly, helping get your rig down while drawing attention, with a smaller or more natural nymph trailed behind. Trout eat the Prince because it looks alive, moves naturally in the current, and consistently resembles food they recognize and trust.
