Meet the Guides

At First Watch Fly Co, our guides are more than instructors — they are students of the water, shaped by time, experience, and a deep respect for the places they fish.

Each guide brings a different background, but all share the same foundation: patience, intentional teaching, and a commitment to helping you understand not just how to fish, but why it works.

Whether you are stepping into a small Driftless stream or wading the larger waters of the White River, our goal is the same — to slow things down, read the environment, and build confidence through experience.

We are not here to rush the day or chase numbers. We are here to help you learn the water, refine your approach, and walk away with something that lasts longer than the trip itself.

Learn the cast. Tie the pattern. Own the water.
